Home Icons
If you go on the internet frequently and you use a particular site more often than any other for example, this could be a news or sports site, then you can set one or more of these sites as home pages. Creating a home page is very convenient because when you open your internet browser your home page tabs will appear automatically. This saves you the time of having to type in the website address in the address bar when you want to access the website.
To create a homepage for your favourite sites follow these steps:
Begin by launching Internet Explorer and select Tools then Internet Options.
The Internet Options window will appear on your screen. At the top will be a number of tabs. From these tabs select the one named General. In this tab you can fill in the web address of the website that you want to make as your homepage. You are not limited to one website as you can enter the address of several websites if you wish to. Each of the websites that you make as your homepage will appear in separate tabs as you launch Internet Explorer (IE).
